This journal is the official open access journal of the European Society of Sport Traumatology, Knee Surgery, and Arthroscopy (ESSKA), aimed at promoting rapid peer review and publication of high-quality papers covering basic science and clinical research in the field of orthopedics, including translational research and epidemiological research. This provides the author with advantages such as high visibility, fast publishing, flexibility, as well as promotion and media coverage. The author retains the copyright of the article and is free to copy and distribute their work. In addition, SpringerOpen provides editing services including language polishing and formatting adjustments that meet submission requirements.
