The Journal of Engineering aims to provide a high-level platform for publishing and exchanging major achievements in engineering technology, exploring hot and difficult issues in the development of engineering technology, and looking forward to the future development of engineering technology, in order to promote the rapid progress of engineering technology and better serve human society. The articles in the journal cover multiple fields such as mechanical and transportation engineering, information and electronic engineering, chemical engineering, metallurgy and materials engineering, energy and mining engineering, civil engineering, water conservancy and construction engineering, environmental and textile engineering, agriculture, medicine and health, and engineering management. The journal adopts an open access publishing model and provides English and Chinese versions on its website, ensuring broad international visibility and accessibility. In addition, the journal has been indexed by international authoritative search systems such as SCI, EI, Scopus, DOAJ, CSCD, CSTPCD, etc., demonstrating its important position in the international academic community.

The editorial team of the magazine is composed of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, the Strategic Consulting Center of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, Higher Education Press, and international publisher Elsevier, ensuring the academic quality and international standards of the journal. The SCI impact factor and ranking in the field of engineering integration of the journal reflect its leadership position and academic influence in the field of engineering technology.
