Journal of International Political Theory is an interdisciplinary, peer-reviewed academic journal that aims to explore international and global politics from various theoretical and philosophical perspectives. It covers a wide range and has international significance, committed to promoting theoretical and philosophical diversity in the study of international political thought. It welcomes research submissions focusing on individual thinkers, specific social and political concepts such as justice, power, equality, sovereignty, hegemony, freedom, responsibility, dialogue, and democracy, as well as various schools of thought such as liberalism, feminism, cosmopolitanism, post structuralism, realism, postcolonialism, critical theory, and comparative political theory. At the same time, contributors are also required to clarify the impact of the theories or concepts involved at the international or global level.

This journal accepts diverse research methods from different disciplines, including political theory, philosophy, international relations, legal studies, intellectual history, sociology, and cultural studies. Through a rigorous process of initial editorial screening and subsequent double-blind external peer review, the journal publishes articles and thematic seminar results with theoretical guidance significance to promote the vigorous development of academic research in the field of international political theory. In recent years, with the continuous expansion of the international and global dimensions of contemporary life, the field of political theory has undergone tremendous changes, and its research has surpassed traditional domestic boundaries.
