The Asian Journal of Accounting and Governance (AJAG) is an academic journal published by the Department of Economics and Management at the National University of Malaysia. It is published twice a year in April and October, with the aim of promoting original academic research and publication in the fields of accounting and corporate governance. This journal encourages interdisciplinary research publications, particularly those related to governance, to identify and address gaps in accounting knowledge and practice, meeting the current needs of regulatory agencies and practitioners.

The impact factor of AJAG is 0.3 in 2024, and the journal is indexed by UGC CARE and the Emerging Sources Citation Index (ESCI) of Web of Science. It is worth noting that ESCI journals do not have impact factors, but are evaluated annually, and qualified journals will be transferred to SCIE. In addition, starting from April 1, 2023, manuscripts accepted by AJAG will be charged an Article Processing Fee (APF) of RM500. The journal's International Standard Serial Number (ISSN) is 2180-3838, published in English, and published in Malaysia.
