Filologia Mediolatina is an academic journal dedicated to medieval Latin texts and their dissemination, published by the Ezio Franceschini Foundation in Florence. Since 1994, this journal has been published once a year. The editor in chief of the journal is Paolo Chiesa, who has a scientific committee composed of multiple experts in the field. This journal mainly focuses on the dissemination, textual criticism, and source research of medieval Latin texts; The study of medieval Latin; And the continuation of classical and late ancient authors in medieval Latin literature, including Latin translations during the medieval period and translation work from Latin; And contributions to medieval textual criticism and textual methodology.

In addition, the journal also includes a concluding section called "Notes and Readings" for publishing short articles on highly specific topics, such as searching for unknown manuscript witnesses, lexical analysis of special vocabulary, identification of specific text paragraph sources, etc. This section also includes comments on the scientific edition of medieval Latin texts and the volume on text criticism theory and methods.
