Frontiers In Sociology is an important academic journal that covers a wide range of areas of sociological research. Here is an expanded description of some of the main areas of study: Gender Studies: This field explores how gender affects an individual's social roles, career choices, and family responsibilities. Research often focuses on gender inequality, gender stereotypes, and the formation and transition of gender identities. These studies help to understand and solve the problem of gender inequality in society and promote the process of gender equality in society.

Sexuality and sexual orientation: This field focuses on an individual's sexuality, sexual identity, and sexual orientation. The study covers multiple sexual orientations such as homosexuality, heterosexuality, and bisexuality, exploring how they interact with social norms and cultural values. Such research can help promote diversity inclusion and improve policies and social services. Media Governance and the public sphere: Studies how media shape public opinion and influence discussion of political and social issues. The research of media governance usually involves how to regulate media behavior, maintain the authenticity of information and prevent the emergence of information bubbles. Public domain research focuses on the role of the media in a democratic society and how the media facilitates or hinders public participation.
