The University of Toronto Journal of Undergraduate Life Sciences (JULS) is an academic journal founded by undergraduate students at the University of Toronto with the aim of providing a platform for them to showcase their research findings. Since its establishment in 2006, JULS has received support from multiple Canadian university departments and faculty, and has been recognized by the President of the University of Toronto, former Prime Minister of Ontario, and former Vice Governor of Alberta.

JULS' publications cover original research in the field of science, and each issue showcases undergraduate research from different disciplines, aiming to promote interdisciplinary thinking. All submitted articles undergo a two-stage peer review process to ensure that the published research meets high academic standards. The mission of this journal is to provide a publishing platform that encourages undergraduate students to actively participate in the academic research process, promotes interest in science, and encourages intellectual activities outside of the classroom environment. In addition, JULS is committed to enhancing and expanding interdisciplinary knowledge and communication between different scientific disciplines.
